"Say, 'On the Day of the Victory'"—the decree—"their faith will not benefit those who disbelieved." There is not one among the polytheists who, upon seeing the punishment, would not believe; however, it will not be accepted from them.
﴿قل يَوْم الْفَتْح﴾ الْقَضَاءِ ﴿لَا يَنْفَعُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِيمَانهم﴾ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَرَى الْعَذَابَ إِلَّا آمَنَ؛ فَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُم.
