Yahya reported, from Ibn Lahi'ah, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, who said: "We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah that we would not flee, but we did not pledge allegiance to him upon death."
يَحْيَى: عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: " بَايَعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلَى أَنْ لَا نَفِرَّ، وَلم نُبَايِعهُ على الْمَوْت ".
