"And abide in your houses" (33:33). As for the one who recites it with a fatha [qar-na], it is derived from [the verb] al-qarar (to remain/settle).
Muhammad said: The original form of it is 'iqrar-na', but he deleted the first 'ra' due to the heaviness of the gemination (tadi'if).
