Qatada said: Then Allah refuted them to His Prophet, saying: "Say: Allah is most knowing of how long they remained. To Him belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth," meaning: He knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth. "How seeing is He and how hearing!" He says: How All-Seeing and All-Hearing He is!
His saying: "They have not besides Him any protector," to prevent them from the punishment of Allah, "and He shares not His legislation with anyone," meaning: And Allah does not allow anyone to share in His judgment or command.
Surat al-Kahf from (Verse 27 - Verse 31).
قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: فَرَدَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى نَبِيِّهِ فَقَالَ: ﴿قُلِ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا لَبِثُوا لَهُ غيب السَّمَاوَات وَالْأَرْض﴾ أَي: يعلم غَيْبُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ ﴿أَبْصِرْ بِهِ وأسمع﴾ يَقُولُ: مَا أَبْصَرَهُ وَمَا أَسْمَعَهُ!
قَوْلِهِ: ﴿مَا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ من ولي﴾ يَمْنَعُهُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ ﴿وَلا يُشْرك فِي حكمه أحدا﴾ أَيْ: وَلَا يُشْرِكُ اللَّهُ فِي حكمه أحدا.
