"And the day We shall cause the mountains to pass away and you will see the earth as a leveled plain," meaning: leveled, with neither buildings nor columns upon it.
Muhammad said: The accusative case (nasb) is permissible in His saying: "(And the day We shall cause to pass away)" in the sense of: "And remember the day We shall cause the mountains to pass away." "And We will gather them and not leave behind any one of them," meaning: they were brought forth, and not one of them remained absent.
Muhammad said: It is said: "I left such and such (ghadartuhu)" and "I left it behind (ghadartuhu)," meaning: I left it behind.
﴿وَيَوْمَ نُسَيِّرُ الْجِبَالَ وَتَرَى الأَرْضَ بارزة﴾ أَيْ: مُسْتَوِيَةٌ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا بِنَاءٌ وَلَا عَمَدٌ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: يَجُوزُ النَّصْبُ فِي قَوْلُهُ: (وَيَوْمَ نُسَيِّرُ) عَلَى مَعْنَى: وَاذْكُرْ يَوْمَ نُسَيِّرُ الْجِبَالَ. ﴿وَحَشَرْنَاهُمْ فَلَمْ نُغَادِرْ مِنْهُمْ أحدا﴾ يُقَالُ: احْضُرُوا؛ فَلَمْ يَغِبْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: يُقَالُ: غَادَرْتُ كَذَا وغدرته؛ أَي: خلفته.
