Then it flew to the West, then it flew toward the sky, then it descended to the sea, and took some of the sea water with its beak while they were watching. Al-Khidr then said to Moses: "Do you know what this bird says? It says: By the Lord of the East and the Lord of the West, and the Lord of the seventh heaven, and the Lord of the seventh earth, the knowledge of you, O Khidr, and the knowledge of Moses, compared to the knowledge of Allah, is only like the amount of this water which I have taken from the sea, compared to the sea."
It was mentioned to us that the Prophet of Allah said: "Al-Khidr was only named as such because he sat upon a white barren land, and it shook with greenery beneath him."
