"Then they will enter Paradise, and they will not be wronged at all." "Gardens of eternity which the Most Merciful has promised His servants in the unseen." The unseen: the Hereafter. According to al-Hasan, the meaning is: He promised them in the world the Paradise of the Hereafter.
Muhammad said: It is read as (jannatun) in the nominative case, meaning: They are gardens of eternity. "Indeed, His promise is ever being fulfilled." Muhammad said: He means: 'atiyyan (fulfilled); and it is a passive participle from al-ityan (to come), with the meaning of an active participle.
﴿فَأُولَئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلا يُظْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا﴾ ﴿جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَن عباده بِالْغَيْبِ﴾ الْغَيْبُ: الْآخِرَةُ؛ فِي قَوْلِ الْحَسَنِ الْمَعْنَى: وَعَدَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا الْجَنَّةَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: وَتُقْرَأُ: (جَنَّاتٌ) بِالرَّفْعِ عَلَى مَعْنَى: هِيَ جَنَاتُ عَدْنٍ ﴿إِنَّهُ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مأتيا﴾ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: يَعْنِي: أَتِيًّا؛ وَهُوَ مَفْعُولٌ مِنَ الْإِتْيَانِ؛ فِي مَعْنَى فَاعل.
