"And draw your hand to your side," Mujahid said: He commanded him to insert his palm under his arm (fol. 207b), "It will emerge white, without disease." Qatada said: Meaning, without leprosy.
Al-Hasan said: By Allah, he brought it forth as if it were a lamp, so Moses knew that he had met his Lord. "[as] another sign, that We may show you [some] of Our greatest signs." The hand was greater than the staff.
Muhammad said: "Ayatan" (a sign) is in the accusative case (nasb), meaning: We shall show you another sign.
