تفسير القرآن العزيز لابن أبي زمنين
مجلد 3 · صفحة 482١٣١

الترجمة · EN

"And do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to categories of them," meaning: classes of them; that is, the wealthy. "The splendor of worldly life," meaning: its ornament. "That We may test them thereby," meaning: that We may examine them; he is commanded to be ascetic toward the world.

Muhammad said: "Zahrat" (splendor) is in the accusative case, meaning: We made the worldly life for them a splendor. "And the provision of your Lord" in Paradise "is better" than the world "and more lasting," he says: it has no expiration.
