They disliked taking him [to task] except with evidence. So they brought him and said, 'Did you do this to our gods, O Ibrahim?'
كَرِهُوا أَنْ يَأْخُذُوهُ إِلَّا بِبَيِّنَةٍ، فَجَاءُوا بِهِ فَقَالُوا: ﴿أَأَنْتَ فَعَلْتَ هَذَا بِآلِهَتِنَا يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ﴾.
