[And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds] (p. 219). The explanation of Sa'id ibn Jubayr, who said: "Whoever believes in Allah and His Messenger, the mercy is perfected for him in this world and the Hereafter. And whoever disbelieves in Allah and His Messenger is spared from that which the nations before him were punished with; however, for him in the Hereafter is the torment of the Fire."
﴿وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ﴾ (ل ٢١٩) تَفْسِير سَعِيد بْن جُبَيْر قَالَ: مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ تَمَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الرَّحْمَةُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، وَمَنْ كَفَرَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ عُوفِيَ مِمَّا عُذِّبَتْ بِهِ الْأُمَمُ؛ وَلَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابُ النَّارِ.
