"And proclaim to the people the Hajj; they will come to you on foot [meaning: walking], and on every lean camel [meaning: and riding on those emaciated from the length of the journey] coming from every deep [meaning: distant] pass."

Muhammad said: "Rijalan" is the plural of "rajil" (one who walks), similar to "sahib" and "sihab." He said "ya'tina" (they come - feminine plural) denoting the collective group of camels.

Yahya, from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad, from Salih Mawla al-Taw'ama, from Ibn Abbas who said: "Abraham the Prophet, peace be upon him, stood by the House and proclaimed the Hajj to the people, and the people of the East and the people of the West heard it."
