the Fire, is but little. "If you had only known," He says: Had you been people of knowledge, you would not have entered the Fire.
Muhammad said: "(Number)" is in the accusative case (mansub) as a circumstantial object of "how much," and His saying "You stayed" means: You did not stay.
Surat al-Mu'minun from (verse 115 to verse 118).
النَّارِ كَانَ قَلِيلًا ﴿لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُم تعلمُونَ﴾ يَقُولُ: لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ عُلَمَاءَ لَمْ تَدْخُلُوا النَّارَ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: (عدد) مَنْصُوبٌ بِكَمْ، وَقَوْلُهُ: ﴿إِنْ لَبِثْتُمْ﴾ مَعْنَاهُ: مَا لبثتم.
سُورَة الْمُؤْمِنُونَ من (آيَة ١١٥ آيَة ١١٨).
