"And those who accuse their wives" up to His saying: "and the fifth [oath] being that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he is of the truthful." Yahya said: This is when they refer the matter to the Imam, and he persists in his accusation of her. He shall say four times before the Imam: "I testify by Allah that I am truthful," then he says on the fifth: "The curse of Allah be upon me if I am of the liars." She shall then say four times: "I testify by Allah that he is a liar," meaning her husband, then she says on the fifth: "The wrath of Allah be upon me if he is of the truthful."
﴿وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَاجَهُمْ﴾ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: ﴿وَالْخَامِسَةَ أَنَّ غَضَبَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا إِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ﴾ قَالَ يَحْيَى: هَذَا إِذَا ارْتَفَعَا إِلَى الْإِمَامُ، وَثَبَتَ عَلَى قَذْفِهَا؛ قَالَ أَرْبَعَ مَرَّاتٍ عِنْدَ الْإِمَامِ: أَشْهَدُ بِاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَصَادِقٌ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ فِي الْخَامِسَةِ: لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلِيَّ إِنْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ، وَتَقُولُ هِيَ أَربع مَرَّات: أشهد بِاللَّه إِنَّهُ لِكَاذِبٌ تَعْنِي زَوْجَهَا ثُمَّ تَقُولُ فِي الْخَامِسَةِ: غَضَبُ اللَّهِ عَلِيَّ إِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ.
