"And were it not for the bounty of Allah upon you and His mercy" – The interpretation of al-Suddi: He says: If not for the bounty of Allah upon you and His grace, He would have destroyed the liar among the two who are invoking the curse of Allah upon each other. "And that Allah is Accepting of Repentance, All-Wise" – Accepting of repentance from those who repent for their sin, All-Wise in His command.
Surah al-Nur from (verse 11 to verse 15).
﴿وَلَوْلا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ﴾ تَفْسِيرُ السُّدِّيِّ: يَقُولُ: لَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَنِعْمَتُهُ لَأَهْلَكَ الْكَاذِبَ مِنَ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ ﴿وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ حَكِيم﴾ تَوَّابٌ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ مِنْ ذَنبه، حَكِيم فِي أمره
