{And they said: What is with this Messenger}—in what he claims—{who eats food and walks in the marketplaces? Why}—that is, why was there not—{not sent down to him an angel, so he would be with him as a warner}, confirming him in his statement.
﴿وَقَالُوا مَال هَذَا الرَّسُول﴾ فِيمَا يَدَّعِي ﴿يَأْكُلُ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِي فِي الْأَسْوَاق لَوْلَا﴾ هَلَّا ﴿أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ فَيَكُونَ مَعَه نذيرا﴾ يصدقهُ بمقالته
