[And the Day He will gather them and that which they worship other than Allah and say, 'Did you mislead these servants of Mine?'] (Al-Furqan: 17). This is in the form of an interrogation, even though He knows that they did not mislead them. Mujahid said: 'He says this to Jesus, Ezra, and the angels, "Or did they stray from the path?"'
﴿وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ أَأَنْتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عبَادي هَؤُلَاءِ﴾ عَلَى الِاسْتِفْهَامِ، وَقَدْ عَلِمَ أَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يُضِلُّوهُمْ. قَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ: يقَوْلُهُ لِعِيسَى وَعُزَيْرٍ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ ﴿أَمْ هُمْ ضلوا السَّبِيل﴾
