تفسير القرآن العزيز لابن أبي زمنين
مجلد 3 · صفحة 888

الترجمة · EN

Muhammad [Ibn Abi Zamanin] says: "The Day they see" is in the accusative case (mansūb), implying: They will say, "[It is] on the Day they see the angels." Then He informs [us], saying: "There will be no good tidings" [to the end of] the verse. Something prohibited (harām) is called "hijr" because it has been restricted (hujira) by prohibition. It is said: "I have restricted (hajartu) a restriction (hijran)," and the name of that which you have restricted is "hijr."
