"And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals," meaning: the polytheists. He is consoling His prophet. "And sufficient is your Lord as a guide" to His religion, "and a helper" to the believers against their enemies.
﴿وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا من الْمُجْرمين﴾ يَعْنِي: الْمُشْرِكِينَ يُعَزِّي نَبِيَّهُ ﴿وَكَفَى بِرَبِّك هاديا﴾ إِلَى دينه ﴿ونصيرا﴾ للْمُؤْمِنين على أعدائهم
