“And the people of Noah,” meaning: And We destroyed the people of Noah, “when they denied the messengers,” meaning: Noah.
﴿وَقوم نوح﴾ أَيْ: وَأَهْلَكْنَا قَوْمَ نُوحٍ ﴿لَمَّا كذبُوا الرُّسُل﴾ يَعْنِي: نوحًا
