"And indeed, your Lord is the Exalted in Might" in His vengeance, "the Merciful" to His creation. As for the believer, the mercy is completed for him in the Hereafter. As for the disbeliever, it is what He has given him in this world, so he has no share except the mercy of the world, and it will cease from him.
Surah Ash-Shu'ara, from (verse 10 to verse 18).
﴿وَإِن رَبك لَهو الْعَزِيز﴾ فِي نقمته ﴿الرَّحِيم﴾ بِخَلْقِهِ، فَأَمَّا الْمُؤْمِنُ فَتَتِمُّ عَلَيْهِ الرَّحْمَةُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، وَأَمَّا الْكَافِرُ فَهُوَ مَا أَعْطَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا، فَلَيْسَ لَهُ إِلَّا رَحْمَةُ الدُّنْيَا؛ فَهِيَ زائلة عَنهُ.
