Ibn Abbas said: When Moses entered upon Pharaoh, the enemy of Allah recognized him and said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life? Why do you claim this prophethood?"
Surah ash-Shu'ara (Verse 18 to Verse 22).
قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: لَمَّا دَخَلَ مُوسَى عَلَى فِرْعَونَ عَرَفَهُ عَدُوُ اللَّهِ، فَقَالَ: أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ لِمَ تَدَّعِ هَذِهِ النُّبُوَّةَ.
