"And the mountains will move with a moving," like His saying: "And when the mountains are made to move."
Muhammad said: The meaning is that they will move away from the face of the earth, and this is what Yahya intended.
"So woe that day to the deniers."
﴿وتسير الْجبَال سيرا﴾ كَقَوْلِه: ﴿وَإِذا الْجبَال سيرت﴾.
قَالَ محمدٌ: الْمَعْنى: أَنَّهَا تسير عَن وَجه الأَرْض، وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَرَادَ يحيى.
﴿فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴾
