"Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."
Muhammad said: "Hani'an" (in satisfaction) is in the accusative case, and it is an adjective in the position of an infinitive (masdar). The meaning is: It is said to them: Eat and drink; you have been gratified with a gratification (hani'tum hani'an).
﴿كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴾.
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: ﴿هَنِيئًا﴾ منصوبٌ، وَهِي صفة فِي مَوضِع الْمصدر، الْمَعْنى: يُقَال لَهُم: كلوا وَاشْرَبُوا هنئتم هَنِيئًا.
