{And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith, We will join them with their descendants.}
Yahya: From Sa'id, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas who said: "Indeed, Allah will raise the children of the believer to his level in Paradise, even if they were lower than him in deeds, so that his eyes may be gladdened by them."
﴿وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَانٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّاتَهُمْ﴾.
يَحْيَى: عَنْ (سَعِيدٍ) عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: " إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيَرْفَعُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ وَلَدَهُ فِي دَرَجَتِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنْ كَانُوا دُونَهُ فِي الْعَمَلِ؛ لَتَقَرَّ بِهِمْ عَيْنُهُ ".
