"He saw of the greatest signs of his Lord"—meaning what he narrated of what he saw. Then he said to the polytheists:

﴿لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى﴾ يَعْنِي: مَا قصّ مِمَّا رأى، ثمَّ قَالَ للْمُشْرِكين:
تَفْسِير سُورَة النَّجْم من الْآيَة ٤٤ إِلَى الْآيَة ٤٩.
