تفسير القرآن العزيز لابن أبي زمنين
مجلد 4 · صفحة 1136٢٢

الترجمة · EN

"That, then, is an unjust division"—meaning: oppressive—in that they assigned daughters to Allah while keeping the boys for themselves; this is the interpretation of al-Hasan.

Muhammad said: It is said: 'Duta fi al-hukm' (He acted unjustly in judgment), meaning: he committed an injustice; and 'dazahu ya'dizuhu' means he diminished his right.

Some cite the verse of Imru' al-Qays:

(The Banu Asad acted unjustly in their judgment … when they make the head like the tail.)

And the root of 'diza' is 'duza', but the dād was vowelled with a kasrah to accommodate the yā', and there is no pattern of 'fi'lā' among the adjectives.
