[Does he have the knowledge of the unseen, so he sees?] He chooses for himself Paradise, if there is a Paradise. It is like His saying: [And if I should be returned to my Lord, indeed for me with Him will be the best]—meaning Paradise, if there is a Paradise. This is the interpretation of al-Hasan. [Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses?]
﴿أَعِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ الْغَيْبِ فَهُوَ يَرَى﴾ يخْتَار لنَفسِهِ الْجنَّة إِن كَانَت جنَّة. كَقَوْلِه: ﴿وَلَئِنْ رُجِعْتُ إِلَى رَبِّي إِنَّ لِي عِنْدَهُ لَلْحُسْنَى﴾ للجنة إِن كَانَت جنَّة هَذَا تَفْسِير الْحسن ﴿أَمْ لَمْ يُنَبَّأْ بِمَا فِي صحف مُوسَى﴾
