"And the companions of the right—what are the companions of the right?" (Wa ashab al-yamin ma ashab al-yamin). He means: the people of Paradise, other than the forerunners, for all the people of Paradise are companions of the right.
﴿وَأَصْحَابُ الْيَمِينِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الْيَمِينِ﴾ يَعْنِي: أهل الْجنَّة من غير السَّابِقين، وَأهل الْجنَّة كلهم أَصْحَاب الْيَمين
