"So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great." He addresses this to His Prophet, so declare Allah free from what they say.
Yahya said: It reached me that when this was revealed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Place it in your bowing (ruku')." And when "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" was revealed, he said: "Place it in your prostration (sujud)."
Interpretation of Surat al-Waqi'ah from verse 75 to verse 82.
﴿فسبح باسم رَبك الْعَظِيم﴾ يَقُوله لنَبيه، فنزِّه اللَّهَ مِمَّا يَقُولُونَ.
قَالَ يحيى: وَبَلغنِي أَنَّهَا لما نزلت قَالَ رَسُول الله ﷺ: " اجْعَلُوهَا فِي ركوعكم. وَلما نزلت: ﴿سَبِّحِ اسْم رَبك الْأَعْلَى﴾ قَالَ: اجْعَلُوهَا فِي سُجُودكُمْ ".
