His saying: "Fasalamun laka" (Then peace be to you), meaning: goodness for you, "min ashab al-yamin" (from the Companions of the Right). These are the Companions of the Right, who are not among the Muqarrabun (those brought near).
قَوْله: ﴿فسلام لَك﴾ أَي: خيرٌ لَك ﴿مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْيَمين﴾ وَهَؤُلَاء أَصْحَاب الْيَمين من غير المقربين.
