"The Day when Allah will resurrect them all"—meaning the Day of Resurrection—"and they will swear to Him"—that they were believers in the world—"as they swear to you"—in the world, and you accept it from them—"and they will think"—the hypocrites will think—"that they are upon something," meaning: that this will be permissible before Allah just as it was permissible for them before you in the world. "Unquestionably, it is they who are the liars," on the Day they swear to Him.
﴿يَوْم يَبْعَثهُم الله جَمِيعًا﴾ يَوْم الْقِيَامَة ﴿فَيحلفُونَ لَهُ﴾ أَنهم كَانُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا مُؤمنين ﴿كَمَا يحلفُونَ لكم﴾ فِي الدُّنْيَا فتقبلون مِنْهُم ﴿وَيَحْسَبُونَ﴾ يحْسب المُنَافِقُونَ ﴿أَنَّهُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ﴾ أَي: أَن ذَلِك يجوز عِنْد اللَّه كَمَا جَازَ لَهُم عنْدكُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا ﴿أَلا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ﴾ يَوْم يحلفُونَ لَهُ
