"Satan has prevailed upon them"—meaning he has overcome them—"and made them forget the remembrance of Allah," that is, to remember Him with sincerity toward Him. "Those are the party of Satan," the followers of Satan. "Unquestionably, the party of Satan are the losers," they have lost.
﴿استحوذ﴾ يَعْنِي استولى ﴿عَلَيْهِمُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَأَنْسَاهُمْ ذكر الله﴾ أَن يذكروه بالإخلاص لَهُ ﴿أُولَئِكَ حزب الشَّيْطَان﴾ شيعةُ الشَّيْطَان ﴿أَلا إِنَّ حِزْبَ الشَّيْطَان هم الخاسرون﴾ خسروا
