تفسير القرآن العزيز لابن أبي زمنين
مجلد 4 · صفحة 1536

الترجمة · EN

"And do not harass them" regarding housing, "in order to straiten them. And if they are pregnant, then spend on them until they deliver their burden." If she is pregnant, he must provide for her until she delivers once he has divorced her. "And if they suckle for you, then give them their wages," meaning the wage for nursing. "And deliberate among yourselves with kindness," meaning the man and the woman.

Muhammad said: He means: let some of you enjoin others with kindness regarding the nursing of the newborn and gentleness towards it, so that they may agree upon a known amount for the nursing wage.

"And if you encounter difficulties" in the nursing, "then another shall suckle for him," meaning: seek another woman to nurse him.
