"Peace be upon Ilyasin [Elias]," he means: Elias and those who believed with him. Whoever recites it as one word says: his name is Al-Yasin, and Elias. Al-Hasan read it as: Ilyasin, and he said: He means him and those who believed from his nation.
﴿سَلام على إل ياسين﴾ [يُرِيد: إلْيَاس وَمن آمن مَعَه]، من قَرَأَهَا موصوله يَقُولُ هُوَ اسْمه: آل ياسين، وإلياس، ومقرأ الْحَسَن: إلياسين قَالَ: يعنيه وَمن آمن من أمته.
