"And Our word has already preceded for Our messengers [servants], that they are indeed the ones who will be given victory," in this world, and by way of argument in the Hereafter. Al-Hasan's interpretation: Not a single messenger among the possessors of divine laws has ever been killed.
﴿وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِنَّهُم لَهُم المنصورون﴾ فِي الدُّنْيَا، وبالحجة فِي الْآخِرَة. تَفْسِير الْحَسَن: لمْ يُقْتَلْ من الرُّسُل من أَصْحَاب الشَّرَائِع أحدٌ قطّ.
