"Bear with patience what they say." He commands His Prophet regarding that. "And remember Our servant David, the possessor of strength." Meaning: the possessor of power in the command of Allah; according to the Tafsir of Qatadah. "Indeed, he was one who frequently turned back [to Allah]"—that is, one who constantly returns and repents.
