His saying: "Blowing by his command, gently." Al-Hasan said: It was not a storm that would harm him, nor was it slow such that it would fail to meet his needs.
Muhammad said: The meaning of 'gently' (rukhā') in the language is 'soft.' It is said: 'a gentle wind' (rīḥun rikhwah/rakhwah), with both a kasra and a fatḥa on the ra', though the kasra is more eloquent.
قَوْله: ﴿تجْرِي بأَمْره رخاء﴾ قَالَ الْحَسَن: لَيست بالعاصف الَّتِي تؤذيه , وَلَا بالبطيئة الَّتِي تقصُر بِهِ دون حَاجته.
قَالَ محمدٌ: معنى رخاءً فِي اللُّغَة: لينَة , وَيُقَال: ريحٌ رِخوةٌ , بِكَسْر الرَّاء وَفتحهَا , والكسْر أفْصَح.
