"And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense," and eternally in a state of being accursed.

"The command descends," meaning: the revelation. "Between them," between the heaven and the earth. "That you may know," by this revelation, "that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge," nothing escapes His knowledge.

Muhammad said: "In knowledge" (ilman) is in the accusative case (mansub) as an emphatic verbal noun (masdar mu'akkad); the meaning is: He has known everything with knowledge. This part concludes with the praise of Allah.
