"So who is more unjust than one who lies about Allah?"—that is, he worshipped idols and claimed that worshipping them brings one closer to Allah—"and denies the truth when it has come to him"—meaning: the Quran which Muhammad brought. That is: no one is more unjust than him. "Is there not in Hell a dwelling"—meaning: a place to reside—"for the disbelievers?"—meaning: yes, therein is a dwelling for the disbelievers.
﴿فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى الله﴾ فعبد الْأَوْثَان , وَزعم أَن عبادتها تقرب إِلَى اللَّه ﴿وَكَذَّبَ بِالصِّدْقِ إِذْ جَاءَهُ﴾ يَعْنِي: الْقُرْآن الَّذِي جَاءَ بِهِ مُحَمَّد؛ أَي: لَا أحد أظلم مِنْهُ ﴿أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى﴾ أَي: منزلا ﴿للْكَافِرِينَ﴾ أَي: بلَى فِيهَا منزل للْكَافِرِينَ
