He says: They cannot remove any harm, nor can they withhold any mercy. "If you ask them, 'Who created the heavens and the earth?' they will surely say, 'Allah.'" That is: How then do you worship the idols instead of Him, when you know that He is the One who created the heavens and the earth?
يَقُولُ: لَا يقدرن أَن يكشفن ضرا، وَلَا يمسكن رَحْمَة ﴿لَئِن سَأَلتهمْ من خلق السَّمَاوَات وَالْأَرْض ليَقُولن الله﴾ أَي: فَكيف تَعْبدُونَ الْأَوْثَان من دونه , وَأَنْتُم تعلمُونَ أَنَّهُ هُوَ الَّذِي خلق السَّمَاوَات وَالْأَرْض
