"And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record will be placed," which the angels wrote upon them, "and the prophets will be brought," who were sent to them, "and the witnesses," meaning: the guardian angels, "and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged."
Yahya said: It reached us that they will stand for the duration of three hundred years before it is judged between them.
﴿وَأَشْرَقَتِ الأَرْضُ بِنُورِ رَبِّهَا وَوُضِعَ الْكتاب﴾ الَّذِي كتبته الْمَلَائِكَة عَلَيْهِم ﴿وَجِيءَ بِالنَّبِيِّينَ﴾ الَّذين بعثوا إِلَيْهِم ﴿وَالشُّهَدَاء﴾ يَعْنِي: الْمَلَائِكَة الْحفظَة ﴿وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وهم لَا يظْلمُونَ﴾.
قَالَ يحيى: بلغنَا أَنهم يقومُونَ مِقْدَار ثَلَاثمِائَة سنة قبل أَن يفصل بَينهم.
