"[Who disputes]"—meaning who argues—"[in the verses of Allah]"—so they deny them—"[except those who disbelieve. So do not be deceived by their movement]"—their coming and going—"[through the lands]"—meaning: in the world without punishment, for Allah will surely punish them.
Interpretation of Surah Ghafir from verse 5 to verse 6.
﴿مَا يُجَادِل﴾ (ل ٣٠٢) يُمَارِي ﴿فِي آيَات الله﴾ فيجحدها ﴿إِلا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَلا يغررك تقلبهم﴾ إقبالهم وإدبارهم ﴿فِي الْبِلَاد﴾ يَعْنِي: الدُّنْيَا بِغَيْر عَذَاب؛ فَإِن الله معذبهم.
