"The Lord of the Throne"—the Lord of the Throne. "He casts the Spirit"—He sends down the revelation. "To warn of the Day of Meeting" [the Day of Resurrection], the day in which the creations shall meet: the inhabitants of the heaven and the inhabitants of the earth before Allah.
Muhammad said: The preferred reading is with the ya (li-yundhira), while Nafi' read it without the ya (li-yundhara).
﴿ذُو الْعَرْش﴾ رب الْعَرْش ﴿يلقِي الرّوح﴾ ينزل الْوَحْي ﴿لِيُنْذِرَ يَوْمَ التَّلاقِ﴾ [يَوْم الْقِيَامَة] يَوْم يلتقي فِيهِ الْخَلَائق: أهل السَّمَاء وَأهل الأَرْض عِنْد اللَّه.
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: الِاخْتِيَار فِي الْقِرَاءَة بِالْيَاءِ , وَقَرَأَ نَافِع بِغَيْر يَاء.
