"And those who strive against Our verses, seeking to cause failure," meaning: they work [to undermine them], "thinking that they will escape Us," meaning: they believe that they will outrun Us such that We would not be able to catch them and punish them, "those will be brought into the punishment," meaning: they will be caused to enter it.
﴿وَالَّذين يسعون﴾ يعْملُونَ ﴿فِي آيَاتنَا معاجزين﴾ أيْ: يظنون أَنهم يسْبقوننا حَتَّى لَا نقدر عَلَيْهِم فنعذبهم ﴿أُولَئِكَ فِي الْعَذَاب محضرون﴾ مدخلون
