"And if We let him taste mercy," meaning: prosperity and well-being, "after hardship," that is: intensity, "has touched him," in the form of loss of wealth or illness, "he will surely say, 'This is mine,'" meaning: by my knowledge, and I am entitled to this! "And I do not think the Hour is established," meaning: it will not be established. "And if I am returned to my Lord," as they say, "indeed, for me with Him will be the best," meaning: Paradise, if there is a Paradise.
