"That is the good news that Allah gives to His servants who believe," He gives them good tidings in this world of the gardens of Paradise.
"Say, I do not ask of you for it any reward except [the desire for] affection among the kin." Al-Hasan's interpretation: He said, "Except that they draw near to Allah through righteous deeds."
Yahya said: It is like His saying, "Say, I do not ask of you for it any reward, but only [the desire for] him who wishes to take a path to his Lord," by obeying Him.
"And whoever commits"—meaning: performs—"a good deed, We will increase for him good therein," meaning: the multiplication of good deeds. "Indeed, Allah is Forgiving" of sin, "Appreciative" of the deed.
﴿ذَلِكَ الَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ اللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذين آمنُوا﴾ يبشرهم فِي الدُّنْيَا بروضات الجنات.
﴿قُلْ لَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّة فِي الْقُرْبَى﴾ تَفْسِير الْحسن قَالَ: إِلَّا أَن يتقربوا إِلَى الله بِالْعَمَلِ الصَّالح.
قَالَ يحيى: كَقَوْلِه ﴿قُلْ مَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِلا مَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ سَبِيلا﴾ بِطَاعَتِهِ.
﴿وَمن يقترف﴾ أَي: يعْمل ﴿حَسَنَةً نَزِدْ لَهُ فِيهَا حسنا﴾ يَعْنِي: تَضْعِيف الْحَسَنَات ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُور﴾ للذنب ﴿شكور﴾ للْعَمَل
