"And if Allah were to extend provision" [to the end of] the verse.
Yahya [narrated] from al-Khalil ibn Murrah that Ali said: "Indeed, this provision descends from the heaven like the falling of rain, to every soul according to what Allah has written for it."
﴿وَلَو بسط الله الرزق﴾ الْآيَة.
يَحْيَى: عَنِ الْخَلِيلِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ: " إِنَّ هَذَا الرِّزْقَ يَتَنَزَّلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ كَقَطْرِ الْمَطَرِ إِلَى كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كتب الله لَهَا ".
