"Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous." He excepted the righteous from the close friends, saying: "Except for the righteous among them," for they are not enemies to one another.
﴿الأَخِلاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقِينَ﴾ اسْتثْنى من الأخلاء الْمُتَّقِينَ، فَقَالَ: إِلَّا الْمُتَّقِينَ مِنْهُم؛ فَإِنَّهُم لَيْسُوا بأعداء بَعضهم لبَعض
