"In it," meaning: the Night of Decree, "is made distinct every precise matter," meaning: separated. Al-Hasan said: Whatever God wills to send down of revelation and to execute of matters in His heavens, His earth, and His creation for that year, He sends it down on the Night of Decree to His heaven, then He sends it down during the days and nights in measured portions until the year turns from that night.
﴿فِيهَا﴾ يَعْنِي: لَيْلَة الْقدر ﴿يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمر حَكِيم﴾ أَي: يفصل، قَالَ الْحسن: مَا يُرِيد الله أَن ينزل من الْوَحْي وَينفذ من الْأُمُور فِي سمائه وأرضه وخلقه تِلْكَ السّنة، ينزله فِي لَيْلَة الْقدر إِلَى سمائه، ثمَّ ينزله فِي الْأَيَّام والليالي على قَدَرٍ حَتَّى يحول الْحول من تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَة.
